Privacy policy
Template — not yet legal text. Have this reviewed by a French lawyer before launch. The registered entity, its SIREN, its VTC registration number, the address and the mediator all have to be filled in, and the practice described below has to match what actually happens.
Who is responsible for your data
Nice Airport Transfers is the data controller for the information you give us when you request or book a transfer. The registered entity and its address are stated in the legal notice (mentions légales) and must be completed before this site is published.
What we collect, and why
When you request a transfer we collect your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off locations, travel date and flight number. We collect it because the transfer cannot be carried out without it: the legal basis is the performance of the contract you are asking us to enter into.
What the driver is told
We share with the assigned driver only what they need to collect you: your name, phone number, route and flight number, and anything you asked us to pass on — a berth, a gate code, the ages for the child seats. Drivers do not receive your email address, the price you paid, or your booking history.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoice records are retained for the period French commercial and tax law requires. Contact details held for no other purpose are deleted sooner.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the loi Informatique et Libertés you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask for it to be transferred. Write to contact@niceairporttransfer.net. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the CNIL.
Third parties and cookies
Messages may be sent to you over WhatsApp, which means their content passes through that service. This website is served as static pages and loads Google's Places service on the booking form so an address can be completed as you type, which sets Google's cookies.
