The journey

Motorway to Le Muy, then the road round the gulf. That last stretch is the whole story of this transfer: outside the season it is forty minutes, and on an August Saturday afternoon it can be two hours. We plan the departure around it, and if the timing is impossible we will say so and offer the Sainte-Maxime crossing instead of quietly selling you the queue.

What Your Private Transfer Price Includes

Your quoted transfer price includes the services listed below, with airport waiting time applying to airport transfers.

Golf Bags, Ski Bags, and Oversized Luggage

We carry golf bags, ski bags, and oversized luggage free of charge. Your quoted price includes them from the start.

Free Child and Booster Seats

We provide child seats and booster seats free on request. Tell us the children's ages when you book so we can arrange the correct seats.

Tolls and Italian Border Crossings

Your agreed price includes motorway tolls and Italian border crossings, including journeys using the Ligurian autostrada.

60 Minutes of Free Airport Waiting Time

Airport transfers include 60 minutes of waiting time from the moment your flight lands. You keep the full 60 minutes when your flight arrives later than scheduled.

Water, Chargers, and Mobile Phone Reception

Water and chargers are available during your journey at no extra cost. Mobile phone reception depends on network coverage along the route.

Water and chargers are practical after a flight or during a longer transfer.

What people book us for

The journeys that come up every week on this coast, and what to tell us when you book one.

August around the Gulf

The last stretch into Saint-Tropez is forty minutes out of season and can be two hours on an August Saturday. We plan the departure around it, and if your timing cannot survive it we will say so and offer the Sainte-Maxime crossing instead.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2

Give us the flight number and we work out where you land. The two terminals are ten minutes apart, and waiting in the wrong one is the most common way to lose twenty minutes at Nice.

The errand nobody planned for

The run to the cash and carry, a part collected from Antibes, a guest's case that followed a day late. A car and a driver for the afternoon, on the same account as the airport runs.

Give us the berth, not the port

A marina address gets you to the gate; a berth number or a vessel name gets you to the passerelle. At Port Vauban and Port Hercule that is the difference between arriving and walking a kilometre with luggage.

Travelling with a dog

Dogs are welcome and it costs nothing, but tell us the size when you book. A crate in the boot changes which car we send, and a villa week with a labrador is a different vehicle from the same week without one.

Golf bags decide the car, not the seats

Four players with four bags do not fit the car that carries four people. Count the bags out loud when you book — Mougins, Terre Blanche and Monte-Carlo weeks are the ones this catches out, and it is easier to fix now than at the kerb.

Questions about Saint-Tropez

How long does the Nice Airport to Saint-Tropez transfer take?

About 1h 40m for the 110 km, door to door and without stops. Where the season changes that — and on this coast it does — we build it into your pickup time rather than apologising for it afterwards.

How much is a transfer from Nice Airport to Saint-Tropez?

One fixed price for the whole vehicle rather than per person, all-inclusive, and you have it before you book. Send the route, your flight number and how many of you there are, and we come back with the figure — once it is agreed it does not move. Summer, night and weekend pickups and event weeks are quoted by hand.

What happens to my airport transfer if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight using the flight number from your booking. We adjust your pickup time to match when your flight lands.

Your driver waits for up to 60 minutes after you land at no extra charge. Your agreed transfer price stays the same when your flight arrives late.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes. The price you agree is the price you pay — per vehicle, not per person. Motorway tolls, the Italian border, luggage, golf and ski bags are all included. There is no meter and no surge pricing.

Where will I meet my driver at Nice?

Inside the arrivals hall of your terminal, at the exit from baggage reclaim, holding a sign with your name. A private-hire car cannot wait at the kerb at Nice, so the driver parks and walks in. The night before we send you their name, photo, car and plate.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

Tell us your flight number and we work it out — the two terminals are 10 minutes apart on the free shuttle and the tram, and standing in the wrong one is the most common way to lose twenty minutes at Nice.

Can you take us to a yacht?

Yes, and it is a regular job. Give us the marina and the berth, or the name of the boat, and whether you are a guest or crew — the guest gates and the crew gates are not the same, and at Port Hercule in show week neither is where you would guess.
